Police report multiple break and enters over the weekend

Several thefts associated with break-ins occurred over the weekend, police say

COUNTY OF WELLINGTON - On Friday July 21, 2017 The County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a break and enter at a residence on Wellington Road 86, near Ariss.

At approximately 3 p.m. an unknown suspect forced open a garage door before forcing open an interior door and accessed the home. Initial estimates indicate that approximately $3,000 in jewelry and cash was stolen. OPP are looking for a silver SUV vehicle involved with the theft.

On Friday July 21, 2017 the OPP was dispatched to a second break and enter at a residence on Wellington Road 86, near Ariss. Unknown suspect accessed the home through a rear patio door. Suspects rummaged through the home however no property has been identified as stolen.

On Friday July 21, 2017 the OPP was dispatched to a break and enter at a residence on Wellington Road 29, near Barrie Hill. Sometime during the day unknown suspect accessed the home by forcing open a rear door. Suspects rummaged through the home and stole a lap top, a jig saw, a table saw and crystal.

On Sunday July 23, 2017 the OPP was dispatched to a break and enter at a residence on Nassagaweya-Puslinch Town Line, near Arkell. Sometime after 12 a.m. July 23, 2017 unknown suspect entered the garage and stole four All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) tires, an extension cord and a hunting knife.
