WELLINGTON NORTH - Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has received numerous calls about unlocked vehicles being entered overnight Augu. 26 - Aug. 27, 2017. The suspects conducted several vehicle entries in the Town of Mount Forest surrounding the Ayrshire Street area as well as the Albert Street area.

The suspects appeared to target cash and loose change, leaving several items of value behind. They removed identification and credit cards from vehicles and threw those items in nearby ditches and front lawns.

Attached is a photo of three individuals seen trying to enter vehicles in a private driveway. The OPP is requesting the public's assistance to identify the persons in the photo.

The 'Lock It or Lose It' campaign is a crime prevention program that reminds the public to lock their vehicles and to remove the valuables and keys from within. This helps reduce the motivation and likely hood of property crimes of these types.

Police are looking for anyone with any information regarding this or any other criminal activity to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
