On Wednesday, May 1, 2018 at approximately 12 p.m., a large transport truck struck a traffic light when it was turning from Massey Road onto Elmira Road North. The transport truck failed to stop and was last seen northbound towards Woodlawn Road West. The traffic light sustained severe damage, estimated at $10,000, and crews were on scene for several hours.
Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed this collision or have information on the vehicle responsible.
