Police want to talk to man following gas station incident involving teen

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying an individual that was involved in an interaction with a 15-year-old

TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA  – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public's assistance in identifying an individual that was involved in an interaction with a 15-year-old youth on April 24, 2021 at approximately 8:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Gas Bar located on Highway 6, north of Guelph.

The individual is described as:       

  • Male      
  • 45-60-years-old       
  • Approximately 5'4 ft in height      
  • Grey hair      
  • Average build       
  • Wearing a blue LA baseball hat, black collared shirt, black trench coat, dark pants, white running shoes and thin black necklace.

The individual was observed speaking to the youth in the doorway of the business before entering the rear seat of a gold/silver older model Toyota Corolla (possibly a 2001-2003). The vehicle was described as having no front plate attached with a scuff on the passenger side front bumper and black side mirrors. The individual was accompanied by two other males who appeared to be in their 20's.
