Power tools stolen from house under renovation

Guelph police are investigating after a quantity of tools were stolen from a home under renovation last weekend.

Police were called about 10:45 a.m. Sunday to the home near Wellington Street West and Edinburgh Road South. The homeowners had left the property approximately 5 p.m. Saturday and came back the next morning to find a rear window had been forced open.

A quantity of power tools had been stolen from various rooms in the house. The total value is approximately $1,600.
