NEWS RELEASE
GUELPH POLICE SERVICE
************************
In the last couple of days, Guelph Police have responded to two overdoses. The overdoses are suspected to be that of purple fentanyl.

While these overdoses are still under investigation, the Guelph Police Service feel it is prudent to warn the public of a possible strong and deadly batch of heroin/fentanyl currently being distributed and consumed within our community.

While the Police strongly discourage the use of these illegal drugs, the police remind those who do continue to use these dangerous drugs of the presence of the overdose prevention site located at the Guelph Community Health Centre at 176 Wyndham St. N., operating between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
