A Guelph female was held for bail after being arrested Wednesday on several outstanding charges.

On Jan. 5, a VISA card was stolen from a vehicle downtown and a short time later used at two nearby businesses. A suspect was identified from video surveillance and Wednesday morning a 33-year-old Guelph female was arrested downtown and charged with possessing stolen property, failing to comply with a bail order and two counts of using a stolen credit card.

Investigation revealed the female was also wanted for failing to appear in court last month on several charges, including three counts of possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking. She was further charged with failing to appear and held to appear in bail court Thursday.
