Really expensive bike stolen. Accused faces numerous charges

On Oct. 11, 2018 at approximately 11:37 a.m., Guelph Police observed a male with a stolen bicycle that was valued at over $7,000 that had been reported stolen earlier in the day from a residence on Glasgow Street.

Police approached the male and he was arrested for possession of stolen property over $5,000. The male was also charged with breaching his Probation Order.

It was also learned that male was wanted for failing to attend court for the charges of resist arrest, three counts of assaulting a police officer, transportation fraud, fail to comply with an undertaking, fail to appear, fail to attend court, and fail to leave a premise when directed.

A 26-year-old Guelph male is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 12, 2018.
