Serious collision just outside Guelph sends three to hospital

(GUELPH/ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public's assistance as it investigates a motor vehicle collision that took place in Guelph/Eramosa Township.

On Tuesday at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Wellington County OPP, along with Guelph-Wellington Paramedic services and local fire departments responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at Wellington Road 30 and Township Road 3. It was reported that two Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) had collided. One driver was transported to a local hospital, and the two occupants of the second vehicle were taken to a trauma centre, the driver with serious injuries and the passenger with life-threatening injuries.

The roadways were closed for several hours while the Wellington County OPP continued to investigate the collision with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.

You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
