Serious injuries reported in motorcycle, minivan collision

On April 7, 2019 at approximately 2:30 p.m., a motorcycle travelling east on Grange Road near Hagan Avenue collided with a minivan. Both occupants on the motorcycle were ejected during the collision.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 42-year-old Guelph male, sustained serious injuries. The passenger of the motor cycle, an 11-year-old Guelph youth, sustained minor injuries. They were both transported to hospital for medical attention.

The driver of the minivan, a 65-year-old Guelph male, was charged with careless driving - cause bodily harm under the Highway Traffic act.

Grange Road was closed for approximately two hours for police investigation, and clean up.
