Guelph police are investigating a shoplifting incident last week in which two males stole approximately $4,500 worth of product. The theft, which was captured on video, was reported Thursday.

On Saturday at approximately 7:30 p.m., two males entered a business on Woodlawn Road West near Woolwich Street. The males filled their shopping carts with $4,500 worth of electric toothbrushes, teeth whitening strips and breast pumps and left the store without paying.

They entered a waiting motor vehicle and fled. Investigation revealed the same vehicle was involved in a similar theft at a business in Fergus on Sunday and was involved in a pursuit with OPP officers.
