A Guelph male was arrested Monday after repeatedly using a found credit card last month.

On May 2, a female dropped her wallet after shopping at a south-end business. The male found the wallet and entered the same business, using the credit card to make purchases totalling $84.75.

Over the next 24 hours the male used the credit card to make additional purchases at three more businesses before the victim discovered her wallet had been lost and cancelled her cards. The male was captured on video using the cards.

A 48-year-old Guelph male was arrested Monday at an address on Janefield Avenue for fraudulent use of a credit card. He will appear in a Guelph court Sept. 17.
