Shots fired at Fergus home

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Feb. 8, 2022, at approximately 1 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a weapons call at residence on Millburn Boulevard, in the Town of Fergus.

Initial reports indicated that an unknown individual (or individuals) had fired multiple rounds at an occupied residential home.

OPP responded and confirmed that no one was injured. The Wellington County Crime Unit and West Region Identification Services are currently processing evidence. There are no concerns for public safety at this time.

Wellington County OPP are asking anyone in the area to check surveillance, dash-cams or door-cams for footage that may help with this investigation.
