Six people charged with possession of meth in three separate incidents

Three people were charged after pushing a jalopy off highway 401, one was charged while trespassing and one was charged while violating probation

Passenger charged for meth possession in RIDE check

CITY OF GUELPH, ON - On Thursday Dec. 13, 2018 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) check on the Hanlon Expressway, Guelph. At approximately 1:30 a.m. a grey SUV entered the RIDE. Police spoke the occupants of the vehicle and observed Crystal Meth within the car. A male driver and female passenger where arrested.

28-year-old Jessica Hungerford of Calgary, Alberta has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and breaching probation. 26-year-old Nicholas Bailie of Edmonton, Alberta has been charged with possession of methamphetamine. Both are scheduled to appear in Guelph Court Jan. 15, 2019.

Trespasser charged with meth possession

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON - On Sunday Dec. 9, 2018 at approximately 6 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a trespassing occurrence at an apartment building on Albert Street, Mount Forest. Police attended and located a female who was not to be on the property. Investigation found that the she was in possession of crystal meth.

34-year-old Ashley Rose Dixon of Guelph has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and was held for bail.

Party of three charged with meth after pushing jalopy off Highway 401

TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON - On Saturday Dec. 8, 2018 at approximately 8:30 a.m. a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motorist in need of assistance on Highway 401 at the Highway 6 South exit, Morriston. Two women and a man were pushing an older model brown sedan off the highway.

During the course of investigation, police identified that the male and one of the females were in contravention of court orders. Further, police found that the three were in possession of crystal meth.

42-year-old Bryan George Devereaux of Kitchener has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of Breaching an Undertaking and two counts of Breaching Probation. He was held for bail.

34-year-old Shannon Carole Payette of Kitchener has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, Obstruct Police, Breaching an Undertaking, and Breaching Probation. She was held for bail.

44-year-old Jody L. MacKenzie of Kitchener has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and is scheduled to appear on Guelph Court January 8, 2019.
