Police are investigating after two neighbouring, south end businesses were broken into early Monday morning, though nothing is believed to have been taken.
Officers were called to a business in the area of Victoria Road South and Arkell Road just before 3 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed a window to get into one business, then used a sledgehammer to smash a hole through a wall into a neighbouring business, a police news release explains.
The suspect is described as a white man wearing a green jacket, black pants and white gloves.
Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to contact Const. Taylor Vajushi-Cooper at 519-824-1212 ext. 7320 or email [email protected]. Details can also be left anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.csgw.tips.
