Somebody caused up to $100,000 damage at a school construction site

On Aug. 8, 2018 at approximately 7 a.m., Guelph Police were called to St. John’s Elementary School on Victoria Road in regard to construction equipment being damaged.

It was learned that sometime between Friday, Aug. 3, at approximately 5:15 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 8, at approximately 7 a.m., unknown suspect(s) pushed over the fencing and entered into the construction area.  Once inside the area, the unknown suspect(s) damaged construction equipment. Damage to the equipment is estimated to be approximately $90,000 - $100,000.
