Someone is leaving raw chicken on area walking trails: Guelph Police

On Sept. 22, 2020 at 7:10 p.m., three pieces of raw chicken were located on a walking trail in Preservation Park near the entrance off Terraview Crescent in the City of Guelph. The pieces of chicken had an unknown substance poured on them. The chicken was seized by the Guelph Police Service and disposed of.

On Sept. 30 at 9:41 p.m., the Guelph Police Service was notified regarding raw chicken being found on a walking trail located near the intersection of Hanlon Creek Boulevard and Downey Road. Police checked the trail but were unable to locate any chicken.

The Guelph Police Service would like to remind the public to be mindful of these two incidents when outside walking with your dogs.
