TOWN OF ERIN - On Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 at approximately 7:20 p.m., members of the Wellington Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle rollover on Wellington Road 22 near the Fifth Line of Erin. The male driver was located a short distance away. Officers attended and began to investigate the motor vehicle collision.
The male was examined by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services and turned back over into police custody at the scene. The male later complained about an injury and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
The OPP has notified the province's Special Investigation Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at (416) 622-2342.
