Speeding motorcycle refuses to stop for police

The suspect accelerated aggressively away from police reaching speeds of well over 130km/h

On May 28, 2020, at 9:40 p.m., police observed a motorcycle with a newer style headlight travelling westbound on Speedvale Avenue West near Elmira Road North in the City of Guelph. The motorcycle was travelling at a speed of 105km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, the motorcycle turned northbound on Elmira Road North and accelerated aggressively away reaching speeds of well over 130km/h.

A pursuit was not initiated due to public safety concerns.
