A Guelph man faces a number of charges after being arrested for shoplifting Thursday afternoon.
Guelph police were called to a business on Stone Road West near Edinburgh Road South approximately 2:35 p.m. where a male was in custody for theft.
The male was searched and small amounts of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine were located. Investigation revealed the male was bound by a conditional sentence order requiring him to remain in his residence at all times.
A 32-year-old Guelph male is charged with theft, two counts of possessing a controlled substance and breaching a conditional sentence order.
