A Guelph man was arrested Friday after a stolen bicycle was listed for sale online.

The expensive Jamis bicycle was stolen May 7 from outside an east end business. Nearly three weeks later the owner saw it for sale on a popular buying and selling site and notified police.

On Friday afternoon members of the Guelph Police Service executed a search warrant at a Waterloo Avenue address and recovered the bicycle.

A 55-year-old Guelph male is charged with possessing stolen property under $5,000. He will appear in a Guelph court July 15.
