'Substantial amount' of stolen property recovered during search warrant, police say

Recovered items include three motorcycles, computers, high end watches, and a bullet proof vest

On Feb. 28, 2019, officers from the Guelph Police Service executed a search warrant at a townhouse on Edinburgh Road South. In coordination with the Drug, Tactical, H.E.A.T and B.E.A.T. units several people were arrested and will appear in court on a variety of charges.

A 24-year-old Guelph male faces two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon (conducted energy weapon), two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to weapons prohibition order, and breach of probation. He will appear in court today.

A 38-year-old Guelph male is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000 and will appear in court today.

A 21-year-old Guelph female is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000 and appears in court at a later date.

A substantial amount of property was seized including three motorcycles that had been stolen from Waterloo. Computers, high end watches, sunglasses, and a bullet proof vest were also stolen. Once the items have been properly itemized and catalogued the Guelph Police will make the photos available to the public. If you have been the victim of a theft, break and enter or vehicle entry, one of these items may belong to you.
