Teen accused of unprovoked face-kicking

The Guelph Police investigation of an assault that occurred on September 28, 2016 at 12 p.m. in the Baker Street parking lot has resulted in an arrest.

It is alleged that the accused male approached the male victim and kicked him in the face without provocation. The victim was transported to Guelph General Hospital for medical attention.

A 17-year-old Guelph male has been charged with assault cause bodily harm and three counts of breach YCJA probation.

He has been held in custody and will appear in court on Oct. 14, 2016.
