Guelph police are investigating after a car was stolen and the owner’s credit cards later used.
Approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday, a Guelph woman called to report her blue 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse had been stolen from her driveway overnight near Dimson Avenue and Hands Drive. The complainant advised her purse was in the vehicle.
Later Wednesday, the victim called police to report her credit cards had been used at a business on Speedvale Avenue East. A man was captured on surveillance video. He is described as white and wearing a black puffy winter jacket with hood, Blue Jays baseball cap, sunglasses and a camouflage facemask.
