Guelph police are investigating after a hole was punched in a wall to gain entry to a north end business.
Just after 9 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to a business on Woolwich Street near Speedvale Avenue West. Staff arrived to find drywall all over the floor and discovered a large hole in the wall connecting the business to an adjacent vacant unit.
Investigation revealed suspects had broken into the vacant unit through the rear door, then smashed a metre-wide hole in the wall. Computer equipment was stolen.
The incident remains under investigation.
