Thieves with a sweet tooth hit local grocery store

Over $1,000 worth of chocolate swiped by shoplifters

An investigation by Guelph Police Service began on Jan. 17, 2019 for the theft of $1,125 in Lindt chocolate from a grocery store on Edinburgh Road South. A male and female were seen selecting approximately 250 of the large chocolate bars and later exiting the store without paying. They have not been identified at this time.
