Guelph police are investigating after three televisions and other property was stolen during a burglary Saturday at a west end apartment building. The TVs were removed from common areas in the building.
Police were called by the superintendent about 9:40 a.m. A review of surveillance video revealed at approximately 4:30 a.m. two males pried open the front door of the building near Paisley Road and Elmira Road. They went to the basement where they removed items from a leisure room, gym and other common areas.
Stolen property includes a 65-inch LG TV, a 42-inch LG TV, a 32-inch LG TV, an LG sound bar speaker, a Terminator-brand e-bike, two bicycles and a mobility scooter. The males loaded the property into a dark grey Dodge Caravan with the licence plates covered.
The first male is described as six feet, wearing a dark jacket with the hood up over a green camouflage jacket, green camouflage pants, a camouflage baseball cap, black and white gloves and a black face mask.
The second male is described as Caucasian, six feet, wearing a black and red jacket, black hoodie, black pants, white and black Nike running shoes, a black toque, black and white face covering, red and white gloves and was carrying a black duffel bag and brown and white checkered backpack.
