Guelph Police Service dealt with 225 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Four arrested on warrants
A 35-year-old Guelph man arrested on grounds for use stolen credit card, possession of stolen property and five counts of breach recognizance.  He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 31-year-old Kitchener man arrested on grounds for five counts of use stolen credit card and possession of stolen property. He will appear in court on June 28, 2019.

A 32-year-old Guelph man arrested on two warrants, one from London Police and one from Strathroy Police. He was turned over to London Police.

A 29-year-old Guelph man arrested on a warrant for theft under, trafficking stolen property and break/enter. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Car/mobility scooter collision 
On May 22, 2019 at 2:49 p.m., Guelph Police were called to the area of Woolwich Street and Macdonell Street for the report of a mobility scooter and car involved in collision. Only minor injuries are reported and the police investigation is ongoing.
