Wednesday around 8:38 p.m., Guelph police observed a motor vehicle driving without its rear lights on near the downtown core.
A traffic stop was initiated, police began speaking with the occupants of the vehicle and soon observed a clear plastic bag containing multiple white pills sitting beside an adult female passenger. Police also observed a crack cocaine pipe sitting on the passenger seat between her legs. She was subsequently arrested.
A search incident to arrest revealed:
- 14 grams of crack cocaine – valued at $1,000
- 1.9 grams of cocaine – valued at $190
- 102 Tylenol pills (codeine) – valued at $510
- 70 Dilaudid pills (hydromorphone) – valued at $700
- 35 Percocet pills (oxycodone) – valued at $185
- Two digital scales
- Two cell phones
- $450 in Canadian currency
A 59-year-old Guelph female has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
She will appear in court on Dec. 7.
