Early on the morning of July 18, 2019, police initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle near the downtown area of the city. Observations made during the traffic stop lead to the arrests of both the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Searches incident to arrest revealed they were in possession of a large amount of narcotics including cocaine, magic mushrooms, marijuana, steroids and Cialis pills.
A 22-year-old Guelph female and a 40-year-old Guelph male has been charged with numerous drug related offences. They will both appear in court for a bail hearing on July 18.
