TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on general patrol on Wellington Road 7 near Side Road 10 when he investigated the male driver of a blue sport utility vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation.

Investigation revealed that his driver's licence had two active suspensions that were valid.

Twenty-eight-year-old Ryan Kruizenga of Brampton has been charged with drive while under suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on Oct. 17, 2018.

His driver's licence and vehicle were seized as per statute.
