It will be nearly a year before a longtime OPP officer heads to trial to face sexual assault allegations.

Ten dates have been set aside for the trial of Sgt. Mike Dolderman, a 21-year veteran of the Wellington County detachment, beginning Aug. 7, 2024.

The other dates are Aug. 8 and 9, Aug. 26-29 and Nov. 4-6, all of next year. The trial will be held at the provincial offences court on Carden Street.

Dolderman is facing five counts of sexual assault and five counts of breach of trust.

A publication ban is in place on the case. None of the allegations have been proven in court.

Dolderman has been suspended with pay since his April 2020 arrest.
