Guelph Police Service dealt with 239 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the GUelph Police Service:

Two arrested on warrants
A 43-year-old Guelph woman located on Algonquin Road in the car she was reported to have stolen. She is charged with theft over, possession of stolen property and breach of probation. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 34-year-old Guelph woman arrested on a warrant for fail to appear as well as a Provincial Offences warrant. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Break and enter
On April 29, 2019, the Guelph Police went to a Woodlawn Road West business for a break and enter. Sometime over the weekend, electrical wire was stolen. Most of the wire was recovered after it was located stashed in a nearby field.
