City bus hits Tesla
On February 25, 2019, the Guelph Police investigated a car accident involving a Guelph city transit bus and a Tesla sedan. The accident took place on Wellington St East. As a result there are no injuries and charges are pending.
Break and Enters
On February 26, 2019, the Guelph Police investigated a break and enter at a business on Cork Street. Two males entered the business around 1:25am. Police arrived within minutes and the two males fled the scene. The first person is described as male, Caucasian, wearing glasses, a bandana, a light coloured jacket and dark shirt. The second person is described as male, Caucasian, wearing a dark jacket, hat, dark pants and a backpack.

On February 25, 2019, the Guelph Police investigated a break and enter to a business on Woolwich Street. The investigation determined entry had been gained by a key. A theft of an unknown amount of laptops and computers is reported.

Police vs Fire charity hockey game
On February 22, 2019 the Guelph Police Service and the Guelph Fire Department competed in a charity hockey game in efforts to raise money for CAMP F.A.C.E.S.
All involved parties raised $3700.00 in funds for the charity.
Guelph Police also took home the trophy and a win of 5-4.
Camp F.A.C.E.S. is an initiative dedicated to families who have suffered the tragic loss of a family member or are families living with a first responder diagnosed with PTSD from Emergency Services in Canada.
