Break and enter
On June 6, 2016 at 11:36 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Ryde Road residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the garage and stole a bike sometime between 11:15 p.m. and the time of the call to police. The bike is described as a boys black BMX bike with black wheel rims and orange gum tires.

Road safety enforcement on June 6
In the area of Victoria Road at Greenview Street from 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. - 7 tickets issued.
In the area of Victoria Road at Hadati Road from 10:00 a.m. - 1:35 p.m. - 14 tickets issued.
In the area of Wellington Street at Waterloo Avenue from 12:07 p.m. - 1:05 p.m. - 4 tickets issued.
Between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. the Traffic unit monitored several complaint locations in residential/park areas for motorists disobeying stop signs, traffic signals, and school bus signals.
During that period of time 12 charges were issued for disobey stop sign-fail to stop, 2 charges were issued for red light –fail to stop and 1 motorist was charged with failing to stop for a school bus.
Motorists are reminded that upon approaching a Stop Sign they are required to bring their motor vehicles to a FULL and COMPLETE stop:
- At a marked stop line , if none,
- before entering the nearest crosswalk, or if none,
- before entering the intersection
The fine for disobey stop sign, fail to stop is $110.
