The following are news releases issued by the Guelph Police Service:
Theft
On Aug. 25, 2017 there were two purses that were reported stolen from a residence on Edinburgh Road and the suspect was identified by a witness at the scene. The suspect was not located until approximately 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 11, when police were called to a disturbance outside a Woolwich Street address.
The male suspect in that theft was involved in a fight there and was arrested by police and further charged with two counts breach of probation.
The 20-year-old Guelph man was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in bail court.
