Two cars stolen, one crashed into a house

On April 19, 2018, Guelph police were called to a south end department store, where there was a report of two stolen vehicles. Investigation alleges that two suspects entered the department store, went into an 'Employees Only' area, where they stole two sets of keys. The suspects then took off with two vehicles.

Police were able to identify one of the two suspects. On April 27, 2018, Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested the suspect and charged him with being the occupant of a stolen vehicle after he fled from police and crashed into a house.

On April 30, 2018, Guelph police attended to Waterloo Region and arrested the suspect. Kane Underhill, a 23-year-old Kitchener man, was further charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle. He was given a June 15, 2018 court date.
