Two charged with trafficking Xanax, acid and pot

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On June 21, 2017, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant at 475 Belsyde Avenue East Fergus.

As a result, OPP seized a quantity of drugs and drug trafficking equipment resulting in charges for two people.

23-year-old Connor Mcleod and 19-year-old Westin Mcleod, both of Fergus were arrested and charged for the following:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Xanax) contrary to the CDSA
  • Possession for the purpose of Trafficking (Acid) contrary to the CDSA 

Westin Mcleod was additionally charged with Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Production of Marijuana.

They were both held for bail.
