Two face numerous trafficking charges in motel drug bust

On March 1, 2019, Guelph Police attended a motel located in the north end of Guelph for a call for service. While dealing with the incident, a quantity of narcotics was observed leading to the arrest of a female youth and an adult male. Police then acquired a search warrant for the hotel room and the motor vehicle belonging to the male.

Between the searches subsequent to arrests and this warrant being executed, police seized: over $5,700 in cocaine, over $3,600 in MDMA, over $2,600 in Xanax pills, over $2,500 in fentanyl, over $13,000 in psilocybin, over $800 in marijuana, drug paraphernalia, over $6,600 in cash, an imitation hand gun, and a switchblade.

Jeremy Draper-Trudell, 22 years of Scarborough, and a 17-year-old Guelph female were arrested. A 16-year-old Guelph female is still being sought. All are being charged with:
    •    possession for the purpose of trafficking – Schedule I – cocaine – (x2)
    •    possession for the purpose of trafficking – Schedule I – MDMA – (x2)
    •    possession for the purpose of trafficking – Schedule I – fentanyl
    •    possession for the purpose of trafficking – Schedule IV – Xanax (x2)
    •    possession for the purpose of trafficking – Schedule III – psilocybin (x2)
    •    possession of a prohibited weapon (prohibited knife)
