Guelph police are investigating break-ins to two south end restaurants. It is not known if they are related.

Just after 7 a.m. a passerby reported a broken glass door at a business on Gordon Street near Edinburgh Road South. A cash register containing cash and a card reader were stolen.

Two hours later, the owner of a  business near Gordon Street and Lowes Road called to report she arrived at work to find the glass front door broken. A cash box was stolen. Preliminary investigation revealed three suspects were involved and they left in a white vehicle, possibly a Mustang.
