NEWS RELEASE

GUELPH POLICE SERVICE

*************************
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on July 18, police observed a vehicle leaving the parking lot of a north end grade school. As the patrol car pulled slowly in behind the vehicle leaving the lot, a very strong odour of marijuana was smelled. The vehicle was stopped to investigate, and that interaction with the male driver led to the discovery of a quantity of marijuana in his possession that could not be considered solely for his personal use.

Bailey Robinson, 19 years of age from Guelph, was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was later released to appear in court on Aug. 25, 2017.
