Wanted man found in possession of fentanyl, stolen bank cards

On March 29, 2019 at 6:48 p.m., Guelph Police located a man at the downtown bus terminal that was wanted on a warrant. The man was arrested and a subsequent search discovered a small quantity of fentanyl, a prohibited knife and multiple stolen identity cards and bank cards.

The 27-year-old Guelph man has been charged with three counts of possession of stolen property, three counts of possess a weapon contrary to an order, possess a prohibited weapon, possession of a controlled substance and fail to appear in court. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
