In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 239 calls for service

The following news releases were distributed today by the Guelph Police Service:

On Dec. 3, 2018, Guelph Police began an investigation into a theft of an iWatch. A male had attended inside a store on Silvercreek Parkway North and distracted the employee. The male then reached over the counter and (allegedly) stole the iWatch.

On Jan. 8, 2019, Brandon Harron, a 39-year-old Guelph male was arrested for theft under $5,000. Harron was also charged with breaching his Probation Order. Harron is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 19, 2019.

Missing a car key?
On Jan. 9, 2019 at approximately 3:11 a.m., Guelph Police received a call from a resident on Walnut Drive in regard to a male going through his car. The male left the area and police located him by the Bullfrog Park.

After speaking with the male, he was arrested for theft under $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property, and two counts of breaching his Probation Order. Lee Bloxam, a 36-year-old Guelph male is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 19, 2019.
