In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 259 calls for service

The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Bike patrol arrest
On Sept. 25, 2018 at approximately 11:12 a.m., members of the Guelph Police Bicycle Patrol Unit were in the downtown core and observed a male in the underground tunnel who was wanted for fail to attend court.

Police arrested the male and also learned that he was breaching his probation order and an undertaking. A 27-year-old Guelph male is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 26, 2018.
