A Guelph woman faces charges after breaking into the same home for the fourth time since October, say Guelph police.

Approximately 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to a downtown residence, which is owned by a local service agency but has been unoccupied due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A staff member had seen someone inside the building.

Officers arrived minutes later and found a window broken and the woman still inside. Investigation revealed she had also been found inside the same residence twice in October and again in early November and was on various conditions not to attend the address.

A 49-year-old Guelph woman faces another charge of break and enter and two counts of breaching a bail order. She was held in custody for a bail hearing Wednesday.
