On Saturday at approximately 2:19 p.m., police were involved in an incident where a 39-year-old Guelph female had fallen off the Allan’s Bridge.
Fast-paced water dragged the female downstream approximately 300 metres before police and a civilian were able to enter the water and pull her to safety. Paramedics and firefighters also attended the area to assist.
The female was transported to the Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries.
