Guelph police are investigating after a south end building under construction was entered Tuesday for the second time in a week.

Police were called Tuesday morning to the building in the area of Gordon Street and Gosling Gardens. Two suspects had forced open a door then headed to the underground parking garage where they stole more than $2,500 in tools and other equipment. The previous Friday two suspects had forced open the same door and stolen eight spools of copper wire. It is not known if the incidents are related.

The suspects in the most recent incident are described as a female wearing a black jacket with an orange logo, a black and orange face mask and a white hood and a male wearing a beige North Face jacket over a black sweater, black gloves and a black face mask. Both were carrying hockey-type bags.
