SALEM – The Elora Farmers’ Market has found an indoor home for the rest of the season.

Starting Nov. 7, the farmers’ market will be at 93 Woolwich St. in Salem at the corner of Wellington Road 7.

Barb Lee, Elora Farmers’ Market manager, said this will be for seven weeks until Dec. 19.

The market, normally at Bissell Park in Elora, will still run on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lee said the building is small and will have less vendors than the usual market.

“With social distancing we really have to allow for space between vendors and space for the customers,” Lee said.

Lee stressed the vendors and farmers will still be local as they are focused on the local food economy.

Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
