Mt Forest hospital emergency department closed overnight Saturday

MOUNT FOREST – Nursing staffing shortages have led to another temporary overnight closure for Louise Marshall Hospital's emergency department. 

According to a news release, Louise Marshall Hospital's emergency department will close on Saturday at 5 p.m. until Sunday at 7 a.m. 

Patients are encouraged to call 911 if they have a medical emergency. 

Ambulances will remain available and will re-route to surrounding hospitals.

For non-urgent health care call Health Connect Ontario at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions.
