Public meetings for Fergus housing developments set for Wednesday

Two developments in northwest Fergus are applying for condominium status

FERGUS – Two public meetings on Fergus housing developments will take place Wednesday.

The first is for the property at 6552 Beatty Line N. at Farley Road in northwest Fergus. 

The proposal by Jennark Homes is applying for condominium status on 12 single and 18 semi-detached units. 

Last year, Jennark Homes had the entire land approved for singles and semis as well as a five-storey, 87 rental unit apartment building.

The apartment building is not included in this condo application.

The other meeting is for a 16 single lot development at lands currently known as 112 Sideroad 19, a short distance from the other proposal.

This development is by Wrighthaven Homes is applying to be considered a condominium. 

Both meetings start at 2 p.m. 

County councillor Mary Lloyd and residents Paul Krabbe and Frances Norlen are registered as delegates for both applications.
